Winter Musical

Dear Parents and Guardians

On Wednesday December 19th we will be presenting our winter musical, “PRESS START” and we would love to have you join us for either the dress rehearsal at 1:00 PM or the performance at 6:30 PM.  Our students, staff and parent council have been working their tails off to put together an extravaganza that’s a feast for the eyes and the ears.  Please join us on Wednesday, Dec. 19th (1:00 or 6:30) to see what we have put together.  The dress rehearsal might be a great option for those that have other concerts to go to that evening or have other commitments.

Press Start is a musical that is based on the “lives” of popular video game characters as they discover their purpose and how we are all heroes at heart.  The musical features such toe-tappers as “Press Start”, “Heroes in this World” and the rocking finale, “The Final Level”!

See you all on the 19th!

Forecast Friday

It was so good to see many of you at Student-Led Conferences, and watch your children share with you what they've been doing in Music class. This next week we will be putting the finishing touches  on our songs for the musical, and also start learning some holiday songs and actions to prepare for caroling.  During the final week of school we will have daily caroling for 20-30 minutes.  On the 17th, 19th and 21st we will have caroling at 8:15 am.  On the 18th, and 20th we will have caroling at 12:45 pm. Families are welcome to come join the festivities during these times.
